@psychgeekgirl @IceFireTerry That’s a weak way to dismiss criticism. Critics and creators aren’t separate species. Creators critique art too, and audiences don’t need to be authors to respond to what a story does. If a work is public, people are allowed to discuss its flaws.

Personally,I think any creator should be able to make a story about anything they want.Isn’t that the point of creating?To tell your own kind of story? If characters or a story has to fit certain“parameters” to be accepted then that’s no longer a creator having freedom to create.
