And no, Rachaad's 50+ yarder just now does not change this fact. His stats tonight are going to be saved on that play alone.

How long will it take the Buccs to realize that Rachaad White is not 'that guy' but they literally have 'that guy' in Bucky Irving...

I'm very honored to receive UNC's Postdoctoral Award for Research Excellence. I've had a wonderful time these last few years exploring the world of PCET kinetics and mechanisms. Here's to hoping for many more as an independent P.I. next Fall!

If you're at ACS - Denver and interested in learning about buffer-enhanced PCET, join me at 9:35 MST in the Mile High ballroom room 2B where I'll be discussing our latest work using transient absorption spectroscopy to study buffer-base effects on interfacial PCET!

I have never owned a cat... Not once in my life. A few days ago, this little guy wandered up to me at a secluded lake, miles from any house, obviously abandoned. I couldn't leave him. I guess sometimes they do choose you. His name is Huck Finn, and I will end bloodlines for him.

I’ve been a bit absent from twitter the last six months but apparently people have missed the papers I post. Stay tuned after conference season ends and there will be more to come!

Just flew in an exit-row seat for the first time and as a tall person this has been a life-changing event. Excited to see all my friends at the GRC this week!

I'm reading Michael Crichton's "Jurassic Park" and I don't know what's more unbelievable: the dinosaurs or the fact that Alan Grant was running a field research operation off of just $30,000 of funding from the Hammond Foundation...

208: This was an interesting article. I've always been curious whether the metal or the porphyrin is the formally reduced species that operates during these catalytic reactions. This report suggests it's the porphyrin! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

I’m thrilled to share that I took part in three minute thesis (3MT) competition organised by @cogsmsu and won the second prize! This year the theme was ‘innovation for tomorrow’ and I had fun presenting the importance of fundamental research for innovation to a general audience!!

D207: Eva made today's paper easy to find! @enicholschem, could the deviation from the trend in del_S by the -OMe derivative be explained by a hydrogen bond between the -OMe oxygen and the acid that leads to a more ordered transition state?
Eva Nichols@enicholschem

@kessm05 Hi Matt, we've measured some temperature-dependent kinetics on these functionalized Fe porphyrins in case you're interested! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…

D205: Today, I started digging into any literature examples where temperature-dependent studies have been done on PCET systems. I actually couldn't find many papers on it, so if anyone has suggestions let me know! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…
