@peekaboo_jen We have the same people here and that's why we have to pay for the shopping cart here in Germany and the money is only returned if the cart is returned correctly. Helps most of the time 🙂

I had finished putting my shopping in the car and was getting ready to reverse out when I noticed the lady next to me walking her trolley to the curb opposite our cars, where she then left it.
It was literally behind our spots and most definitely a hazard.
I put my window down and said, "Hi. You do realise the trolley return is just over there (literally 20m away)" to which she replied, "Fuck off" before getting in her car.

Our out-of-office cocktail🍸🫐
Enjoy your #LaborDay weekend!
Blueberry Gin & Tonic
In a shaker tin with ice, combine
2 oz Sassenach Gin
1 oz blueberry syrup*
½ oz lime juice
Shake and strain over ice🧊 into a glass
Top with tonic
Garnish with a cute blueberry and lime peel
*To prepare the blueberry syrup, place 1 cup of blueberries into a medium saucepan. Add ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water and stir to combine. Heat over medium-high heat until the mixture comes to a boil. Turn the heat down to medium and stir while boiling for an additional 2 minutes. Remove pan from heat and allow to cool for 1 hour. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl. Store the syrup in a sealable container in the fridge until you are ready to use it.
