Led by Kettering Nature Group as part of #naturallykettering, the main festival will take place at Wicksteed Park on 30 and 31 May, with a full month of events, walks, workshops and celebrations across the town in the lead-up.

Save the date and be part of the Midlands’ great gathering of life. A weekend shaped by wild places, growing spaces, art, music and the quiet work of conservation. Come and celebrate all that roots us to the land and all that rises from it.

I am afraid to tell you that my dear, lovely Nell died last night. She was diagnosed with cancer in June ( which is why she barely appeared on tv) and went rapidly downhill in the past few weeks. She is buried in the garden next to Nigel.
