@Scott9037881732 @ABC The FBI admitted in 2024 court filings that they put these classified cover sheets on the documents. These photographs were staged to give the false impression that the coversheets were found at Mar-a-Lago.

@kevicss @ChrisCameronNYT Kind of ironic when this whole case came to be because Trump stole a bunch of highly classified docs and kept them unguarded in his bathroom. Presumably you also agree he should have been punished for that, the DOJ had him dead to rights on that as well.

Hmm. Seems to be a logical/rationale disconnect between "college course" that only requires a "6th grade" level of understanding. While there are exceptions for small class sizes (too small to distribute) and some baser requirements (which should be pass/fail), but the whole point of a grade is comparative. And the lack of standards are why so many degrees from tier 3 and 4 schools are worth less than the paper they're printed on.

Okay, since critical thinking doesn't seem to be in your skill set, I'll help you one last time. Not every college course is on quantum physics. In fact, many college courses today require little more than a 6th-grade education. Your argument fails every principle of logic and reason.

If that many can ace the "course material", there should be more course material. Just like standardized exams gauge a person relative to the population, so should exams gauge a student relative to the class. It's not like a licensure exam ensuring a minimum baseline of knowledge.

Uh, no. Tests are based on the course material. You are making a false assumption that it is impossible for any more than 20% of the class to read, study, and comprehend the course material. Tests should never be designed to ensure failure, nor should they be so easy everyone passes.

@kevicss @WSJ If 80/300 can score perfectly, the test was not difficult enough. Grades are necessarily comparative and should allow for normal distribution.

UPDATE: DHS responds to illegal alien truck driver from India kiIIing two people in a crash— urges Congress to pass Dalilah’s Law “This criminal illegal alien from India should never have been behind the wheel of a semi-truck and allowed to kill two innocent people in a multi-vehicle crash in California. He is now charged with vehicular manslaughter, hit and run resulting in death or injury, and resisting a police officer. This is yet another example of why illegal aliens should not be operating trucks on American highways. We need Congress to pass Dalilah’s Law to prohibit states from granting illegal aliens commercial driver’s licenses.” - Acting Assistant DHS Secretary Lauren Bis

🚨BREAKING SCOOP🚨 Manvir Singh was just arrested in California for a fatal hit-and-run which left two dead after he crashed his big rig and hit three cars on a highway in Lodi, CA Sources at DHS tell me he is an ILLEGAL ALIEN from India. Singh came into the country illegally in Arizona in 2023 and was RELEASED into our country by the Biden Administration. ICE is asking Gov Newsom and California sanctuary politicians to NOT release him onto the streets. Singh now faces charges of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence, hit and run resulting in death or injury, and obstructing/resisting a police officer. How much more of this can we take?! In the US, left-leaning individuals report significantly higher rates of mental health diagnoses and poor mental well-being compared to conservatives. Polls and studies reveal that up to 62% of White liberals have been diagnosed with a mental health condition, with young progressive women representing the demographic most likely to identify as having these issues.

The problem with a "curve" is it still runs into a cap. In a course with 300 students, common for lower-division/introductory classes, and a cap of 20% getting an A, that means only 60 students can earn that grade. Of those 300, say 80 score perfectly on exams. So now how do you decide which of those are going to get an A and which are not? It opens the door to then being subjective.

@kevicss @WSJ Nah. Grading curves are an objectively good thing. Especially considering tests and other assessments should be difficult enough to distribute grades. If a teacher writes a test that multiple students can ace, the test is not hard enough.

This is a garbage study that attempts to conflate causation and correlation. The correlation is that people who are obese, do not eat healthy, and do not care for their bodies tend to eat more garbage food that just happens to have food coloring. There is no proof proffered that the natural food coloring is the problem.
