An absolute privilege to perform the first VELYS Robotic-assisted knee replacements in the U.K.
Thanks to a phenomenal team, we did 4 robotic-assisted knees & a standard knee replacement too.
Coincidentally my first VELYS TKR was also my 300th cementless Attune!

@Bloch_ortho @Banksy_Tom @OrthopodReg In the OR 4 days a week and did 5-6 cases a day in my room while the attending had 5-6 cases in his room. We would start at the same time and he would come over to my room when he was done and I would have all the trials in. Final components do in and he leaves. Rinse. Repeat.

It is common practice for patients to have postoperative blood tests after total joint replacement. This study highlights that they are unnecessary in the majority of patients undergoing lower limb arthroplasty.
