Some personal news: I’ve been a little “quiet on the set” as it relates to the Augusta sports scene lately, but I’ve still been tracking things and “covering” the scene in my own way. Now, I can get “loud” again, but this time in a different way. I’ve been offered, and have accepted, a job as Weekend Sports Anchor and Sports Reporter with @WJBF News Channel 6, Augusta’s ABC affiliate. It’s a new, exciting challenge for me as the better part of my near 20 years in journalism were primarily spent on the print side. I’ll still be able to do a lot of good, deep writing and storytelling in this role, but now ya’ll will also get to see this handsome face on your TV and device screens each and every week. 😂😂 Not only do I get to continue covering the CSRA in a deeper, more comprehensive way, but I’ll also get to extend into more major collegiate sports coverage, and may even get to sneak over to Mercedes Benz or State Farm Arena in Atlanta every now and then! I want to thank @JohnHartWJBF for seeing and valuing my talent and passion for sports journalism and rewarding it with this full time opportunity. I’m looking forward to working with him, @WJBFSports Director @GiannaCefaluTV and the entire WJBF team, starting January 2! 😁😁😁 #ShortHiatus #ImBack
