Get the nostalgia, with hindsight these films look cheeky fun but this is a tad disingenuous. Flocking to cinemas? It was dark time for cinemas with plummeting admissions and the proliferation of cheap sex comedies didn’t help. theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/a…
