@VikkySvedish That’s great it works.
My lettuce is still super warm 😁. I was having problems with germination so I’ve bought a seed starter dome, it’s only day 3 now and all the iceberg lettuce and spinach have already germinated 😁🌱.

English

@VikkySvedish Yes I will for sure, it does say they take between 14/30 days to germinate and I’m on day 15 now so I’ll keep you posted 😁🌱
English

@kevmoore Keep me updated on the parsley! 😄🍀 If it grows I will definitely get one of those hydroponic things!
English

@VikkySvedish Oooooh I have parsley in one, I only started it two weeks ago and they do say they are very slow to germinate so I’ll let you know how it goes. 😃👍🏼
English

@kevmoore Impressive! I love that it doesn't take up much space and also that it's so clean.😁 To have fresh herbs and lettuce at home even in winter would be great. Maybe even parsley, for some reason my parsley never grows.😄
English

@VikkySvedish Oh wow that’s a great idea, also great it helps them become strong later on too 😃🌱❄️
English

@kevmoore They thrive!🪴
I know this looks insane but I start some of my veggies and flowers in February/March, plant seeds and then cover with snow.🤪❄️😂 Some seeds benefit from going from cold and slowly warm up, and it means they get a early start and grows to be more hardy and robust.

English

@VikkySvedish And these are the mint I had to take out and put in soil today, it’s been 3 weeks now since I started them.

English

@VikkySvedish Oh yes I bet it is difficult for you with it being so cold, these are how the lettuce are doing and also cress I put in one.

English

@VikkySvedish If you’re also on Facebook there’s this group which is very helpful (not that I’ve needed any help yet 😊

English

@VikkySvedish Ooooooh my mint was taking over so I’ve had to take the mint out and put it in soil, it grew so fast. So far 3 of my lettuce plants are growing and only one spinach unfortunately. I’ll send pics when I get home from work tonight 😃👍🏼🌱.
English

@kevmoore How's the spinach doing? 🌱 Inquiring minds want to know.😃
English

@VikkySvedish I will do, it’s ideal for me living in an apartment with no garden, if it goes well I’ll buy another. There’s even an app for it, I’ll send you update photos as the weeks go by, I started it last night. 😁🌱
English

@kevmoore I want one too! 😃I read about them and it sounds interesting. Let me know how it goes!
English

@VikkySvedish Yes it’s hydroponic, I only found out about it a couple of days ago and loved the idea so went straight out and bought one 😁, I hope it works, I’ll find out soon. 😁
English

@kevmoore Yup, I know the feeling.😊 Very impressive gadget there. Hydroponic?
English

@VikkySvedish Ha ha yes it would be amazing wouldn’t it, I’m hoping to be retiring in 6 years and that’s the type of thing I want to be doing too, taking my camera with me of course 😁🐧
English

@kevmoore I can just hear them at work!
'What ever happens to that grumpy old colleague we used to have?'
'I heard she moved to Wales to count puffins on some remote island.'
'Poor puffins...'
-Meanwhile me living happily ever after with 40 000 of my closest friends 🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧💃🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧

@kevmoore I'd sign up immediately if I wasn't so far away!!😃

Stay on this stunning island for free... if you're willing to count puffins bbc.in/4k9XGV1
English

@VikkySvedish Ha ha yes I would too, they are far more interesting and cuter 😁. Sounds like a great retirement plan too. 😃👍🏼🐧
English

@kevmoore 'literally walk all over your feet'🥹 I'd take unpaid leave from work and count puffins for as many months as there are puffins to count!🥰 I'd much rather spend spring, summer and autumn with 40 000 puffins than with my colleagues!!😄
Hope you get to go there this year!
