I think there are very few parents who would have a bad word about the GAA Go Games. The question shouldn't be why aren't underage games competitive, it should be about how to ensure our teenagers want to continue to play sport as they get older.

Absolutely gutted to hear this morning of the death of a good friend, Séamus Ó Faoláin, whose 22 years as Westmeath GAA chairman coincided with unprecedented development and success in the county. I'll miss the chats and the stories... Solas na bhFlaitheas ar a anam uasal.

We gave it our all. Very proud to manage our great group of men on the @westmeath_gaa U20 panel. They emptied the tank for our County and I couldn't be more proud of them. Best of luck to @CLGLaois for remainder of championship.

@bernardflynn15 Totally agree Bernard, these lads have missed out on so much in their development. Technically an 18 year old can train with the senior panel but can't train or play with the U20 panel. Crazy stuff.... Needs to be sorted ASAP
