From reading the responses, I got a few things to say. The stock market isn’t the economy and people need to keep in mind that most Americans don’t own stocks. The measurement tool for inflation doesn’t capture a lot but Americans of lesser means are paying more for basics today.

Some of the comments cheering and lamenting how “cool” it was for the Blue Angels to get within feet of beach goers is maddening because it could’ve been a very different and horrific tale if there was an accident.

I used to not care if people smoked or not but after my mother got lung cancer my opinion changed. Cigarettes should be banned. The health effects are known and looking “cool” because you’re smoking is total simp behavior. washingtonpost.com/style/2026/07/…

Small part of me is glad a rich kid is trying to do good but the rest of me is annoyed that a nepo baby from an elite fam is sticking his fingers in politics. If things go wrong he can just walk away like nothing happened since he has means to fall back on nytimes.com/2026/01/25/sty…
