i think literature is meant to be consumed, in whatever shape or form that may be. break the spine, break the spine, dog ear the pages. in the process of reading you reach a point where u stop caring about the form and focus on the content.

This is the single most important book for understanding our current era. Ray Bradbury foresaw, in 1952, how we would voluntarily abandon literacy for mass entertainment and how that entertainment would be used to enslave us. Every single thing he envisioned has come to pass.

Fahrenheit 451 is now a required read for me. I just finished this and I can’t believe I didn’t want to read it in High School. I’ll have an in depth review out this week but my main takeaway is don’t be an innocent bystander. I’ll leave it at that. Incredible book
