Colleagues and young people we support at Min Y Grug recently visited the ice-skating rink at Deeside after it reopened in late 2022. While there, they enjoyed the skating disco and had lots of fun practising their skating. Can you ice skate?⛸

Recently, at Broadwood School, the KS3 students have been taking a selection of Autumnal landscape photos!

Recently, one of our young people from Ty Parc has returned home to his Mum, after living with us for 2 years. It was very touching to receive a thank you card from him and his Mum. It's such a lovely, and well-deserved appreciation for our team!

Woodview enjoyed their first visit from the beautiful therapy dog Beau. Beau spent time getting to know the children and finding all the treats they had hidden for him. Beau showed everyone his tricks, paw, sit and jump!

The staff and young people from the Bristol and South West team held a Macmillan Coffee Morning at the Leaving Care South office £120 was raised for charity with the help of the local community. The young people who attended met some other young people who live close to them.

We had an amazing day at Walton Resource, hosting @macmillancancer Coffee Morning. We had cake sale in the morning and invited families to join us for our Disco in the afternoon🍰🕺 Everyone had a fantastic day, and we have raised £195 towards a great cause!

We would like to thank everyone who donated to our fundraiser for Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. We managed to raise £1,682, which Keys matched, so our total donation was £3,364.

One of our young people has been on some educational walks in the local area, Learning about Llyn Tegid and the sunken town; they also got a close view of some local wildlife in Bala lake.

We at Coed Duon are proud of one of young men who, when he moved in 12 months ago, feared water and could not swim. With his hard work and dedication, he has now achieved level 6 and has a host of medals for his achievements. Well done!!

Unity College students have recently completed their Duke of Edinburgh expedition; they have been canoeing for two days, building resilience and working towards their Bronze award. Everyone was very impressed with how well our students did!

The South Park College pupils have recently been busy making a chicken coop for the chickens hatched in the school.
