Anyone predominantly listening to the same band or genre of music they favoured in adolescence/young adulthood is not really listening to music at all, they are partaking of ritual behaviour in which the music is a component.

@MikeTilburn It’s not quite ‘canon’ but it’s still a vital part of the Beatles universe. Where else could we hear Paul’s fade-out bass groove to Hey Jude?
English

@otokyo__ American Beauty. Partly due to the rendition of ‘Because’ that was playing.

@mariana057 When a Man Loves a Woman. It’s nuts how many people don’t know what it’s about.
English

@AbakpaJob Let’s definitely do that. We should do that. Let me know when’s good

@sleafordmods The first ever hare I’ve seen with foetal alcohol syndrome

70’s tv puppets just lobbed in the cupboard afterwards. Absolutely not looked after.
Scarred for Life@ScarredForLife2
Scarred For Life Hall of Famer HARTLEY HARE, operated and voiced by the great Nigel Plaskitt, was the undoubted star of ITV kid's show Pipkins (1973). He was vain, arrogant, conceited, and looked like he'd had a brush with myxomatosis. I adore him.

@anon_opin Taylor Swift is older now than Phil Collins was at Live Aid. And he was a dinosaur THEN.

@gigarex56 @MonopolyPhonic Kids could not give a single fuck about this. The only people up in arms are guys that CANNOT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT on this feed. If you’re getting a bit worried about it, have a word with yourself.
English

@MonopolyPhonic Since when is it socially acceptable to be half naked in public spaces? There could be kids outside...

@petegee1 @RestoreBritain_ Absolutely it should. Surely Reform & Restore don’t want foreign money?
English

@RestoreBritain_ Does that include stopping foreigners / exiles donating to political parties here ?
English

@YesterdaysBrit1 That’s the water gardens in Hemel, right? Had my 18th in that Indian.
English

@BenJoRS2017 @Jenny_1884 @Lou_Gooner77 Ah - a church. A building that Reform members claim to visit. But don’t.
English

@AngIo_Saxon_ @Jan51478528 Or rather, why were pagan festivals and rituals rebadged by the Christians, instead of new ideas being forged?
English

@Jan51478528 While this image is AI generated, it is worth asking: Why are Christian feasts diluted, renamed and stripped of public recognition in the name of neutrality, yet other religions are accommodated, celebrated, and permitted to retain their traditions and proper names?
English

@anon_opin Nope. We need a day between Sunday and Monday. On Sunday you can do the Sunday things - hangover, roast, mow the lawn, hair of the dog. On the new day you can have a proper think about going back to work. And possibly do all the Sunday stuff again.

@RestoreBritain_ You ought to be thankful that we live in a world where you can now just make things up and say it. Read books please. Or if that’s too much, fuckin shut up.
