I’m going for back to back Bet Builder winners, and Bruno Fernandes is the player of focus.
Here’s why I’m backing him to score or assist in my bet. 👇
Fernandes has been sensational in recent weeks, and has been the key cog in what looks like a resurgent United side under Carrick.
He’s been pushed further forward, is finding the gaps, and is causing havoc as a result, with a goal contribution in all four games under Carrick thus far.
His form extends much further than that four game stretch. No player in the United squad has more goal contributions this season than Fernandes, and his 18 combined goals and assists can only be bettered by Haaland in the Premier League.
In fact, United captain has now registered a goal contribution in eight of his last nine games in all competitions, with a total of 12 in that run.
Four goals, eight assists, it’s a run that few can replicate over a nine game stretch. He now has quality operators in Mbeumo and Cunha to hit ahead of him whilst also carrying a threat himself, and let’s not forget that he’s also on penalties and set pieces.
