@AnthonyLaPanta Won’t be a long series with that kind of special teams play, not to mention getting killed in the dot…same story every playoffs.

Stars PP comes through in the second OT. League's power play goal scoring leader Wyatt Johnston with an incredible tip to win it. Amazing game. Had everything. Great battle goes to the Stars and they lead the series 2-1. Game four Saturday afternoon. Long way to go in this series!

@mnwildPR It’s been 4-5 years of brutal special teams and faceoffs in the playoffs. Maybe fix that at some point

That nifty tip by Wyatt Johnston was his 2nd career OT playoff goal. Comes with 7:50 left and at 12:54 a.m. CT

Both teams pretty conservative in the first overtime. Wild had the better of the territorial advantage - helped lead to a couple of PP chances for the @mnwild Shots 8-2 Wild in that period - and they start the second OT with 1:10 left on their seventh PP chance of the game.

Dallas wins. Heiskanen shot and it deflects by Wyatt Johnston

Great backcheck and stick check by Duchene on Boldy to save a shorthanded goal and 4-2 Wild lead. Minute left on the Stars power play

@RussoHockey Do the refs review plays during intermissions to see if they missed something?

Wyatt Johnston speared Kaprizov in the balls. Gord Dwyer missed another

@RussoHockey Both Zuccy and Boldy were dirty head shots and they equated to a single minor penalty.

2-1 Dallas after 1. Rantanen scores a power-play goal 1:25 in, then Jason Robertson scores on a 2-on-1 after a fourth-line turnover. Marcus Johansson's power-play goal cuts deficit in half late. 9-8 Stars on shots

@JoeSmithNHL If they continue to lose their cool (again) and blow this series, it's time for Foligno to move on. He can talk all he wants about what they (he) learned from the last Dallas series, but I think Faber is clearly calling him out with his comments. Enough already

The #mnwild may be the “tougher” team, as Brock Faber suggests. They may have the edge at 5-on-5 over @DallasStars. But if they continue to lose their cool, they’re going to lose a series that has the feel of an instant classic. My column from Game 2 nytimes.com/athletic/72146…

Downgraded to a double minor. Harley gets an interference, so Foligno gets a break but Stars get a power play

Painful block by Spurgeon and some big stops by Wallstedt

After giving up that goal, Jesper Wallstedt settled in and make two big-time saves, one on Jamie Benn off a Kaprizov turnover, then he got his glove on a Wyatt Johnston shot on 2-on-1

@tlschwerz Send Clemens up in the bottom of the 8th to face a lefty with a chance to seal up the game with Jeffers sitting on the bench?

@RussoHockey Lots of Wings fans commenting on Bultman’s article that they are ready to see Larkin go. Would love to see him available this summer along with Matthews and B. Tkachuk…give Billy some options for another big fish.

@JoeSmithNHL Good to hear about Spurgeon, no need to push it right now and it's nice to have a depth guy like Petry to play. Trenin and Faber the last two standing who haven't missed a game.

Spurgeon is doing better but not playing tonight, Hynes said. Called him day to day. Bogosian in for him. Same lineup otherwise. Gustavsson in net #mnwild.
