It's because he's only tapping into a tiny part of his talent, he's boxing himself. He's an insane playmaker and he's a great passer , he needs to understand that he doesn't always have to take on multiple players to influence the game, he doesn't need to box himself on the wing.

The best footballers excelled by doing what? Keeping things simple.
Master the basics, and do them well without over complicating.
This brother will hold the ball, and face 3 people and still want to dribble them instead of passing to a running teammate.
I can't even start naming how many counter attacks he ruins with his poor decision making.

Vini has pulled of beautiful plays and insane assists, I can't accept someone like that doesn't have IQ, someone without IQ can't pull of that pass to mbappe on Wednesday.

@khaleedrmcf The reason he is being boxed is because of the presence of Kylian. When Julian was injured, he was a totally different player. Julian occupies spaces on the pitch that makes it difficult for Vini & Jude to thrive in their best roles. Kylian is the guy that needs to be coached.

Post 2023-2024, Vini became the man of the team. From a winger to a striker/goal scorer. He had so much maturity in his game even when Mbappe arrived. He was creating and scoring. After few months, he lost his head. By early 2025, Vini stopped being himself. His growth declined.
