Passed away yesterday: Moroccan writer, #lexicographer & translator Abdelghani Abou El Azm. Born in Marrakech (1941). Studied at the Sorbonne. Former active member of the Moroccan far left. Author of the modern Arabic dictionary "Al-Ghani Az-Zahir" & three autobiographical works.

Moroccan #artist #AbdallahSadouk passed away on Feb 15 in Paris. Born in Casablanca (1950). Studied at the School of Fine Arts in Tétouan & the Sorbonne. Known as a painter, sculptor, and engraver. Worked with several poets incl. Abdellatif Laâbi in "Petit musée portatif" (2002).
