🚨🇺🇸🇷🇺Trump rejected Putin's offer to solve the nuclear problem without a single boot on the ground Axios reports Putin proposed moving Iran's 450 kg of enriched uranium to Russia as part of a deal to end the war. Trump said no. That uranium is enough for 10+ nuclear bombs and can be converted to weapons grade in weeks. Securing it is supposedly one of the war's core objectives. Russia actually has the technical capacity to store it and did so under the 2015 nuclear deal. Instead, the U.S. and Israel are discussing sending special forces into Iran to physically seize it. A commando raid deep inside enemy territory versus a phone call to Moscow. Trump chose the hard way. The reasoning likely comes down to trust. Handing Iran's uranium to Russia means trusting Putin with the leverage, and given that Trump just admitted on Fox News that Russia is "probably helping Iran a little bit" in the war, that's a tough sell.
