#brøndby #işçibayramı @a_siab

High in the majestic mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan, where every drop of water can mean the difference between hope and hardship, a father holds a block of ice, his gift to his daughter’s dreams. @OPMglobal @ukinpakistan youtu.be/idw55Kdi-zY?si…

Amazing transformation of a barren piece of land into a thriving ecosystem within a few years under the Billion Trees Project initiated by Imran Khan at Hathala, DIKHAN. Rainwater harvesting ponds, plantation of indigenous species & letting nature run its course, has brought back flocks of birds & other local species to their new home.

Did you know that centuries-old irrigation systems are still vital for farming in Gilgit-Baltistan? Today, these ancient water channels are revived as climate-smart innovations, enhancing efficiency and reducing water losses. @OPMglobal @ukinpakistan youtu.be/TUT9x-xQ1HA?si…

I am planning to run the Sydney Marathon 2026 but this time, it’s for something bigger. I’m raising funds for Parkinson’s UK to support those living with Parkinson’s and to help fund vital research and care. Turning every mile into meaning and I’d love your support on this journey. Did you know communities in Gilgit-Baltistan are grafting glaciers at over 15,000 feet above sea level? This remarkable practice blends indigenous knowledge with scientific techniques to store winter ice and release water during the growing season. youtu.be/agVdm6Fe_oY?si…

@CDPRPak Firearms is one such example where if the government regulations allow, we can compete Turkey, Austria and the US in the international markets.

@CDPRPak The value addition is something that we miss when we are extracting raw ores, minerals, stones, marble and granite etc. The cost of electricity and transportation also deprives us of our competitive edge. We are also good at many skilled niche products.

@CDPRPak "Other countries, such as Malaysia and Singapore, allowed foreign investment to engage directly in exports and provided an economic, governance and legal environment which attracted many foreign companies". I feel that following this strategy can change the future of our exports.

🚨 NASSER HUSSAIN RAISES CONCERNS OVER IPL POLICIES 🚨 "The ongoing clash between the Pakistan Super League and the Indian Premier League is not just a scheduling issue anymore; it’s exposing a deeper problem in modern cricket. PSL, over the years, has quietly built itself into one of the most competitive and high-intensity T20 leagues in the world. The quality of cricket, the balance between bat and ball, and the emergence of genuine talent make it a tournament where performances truly matter. What’s disappointing is seeing players walk away from PSL contracts at the last moment, despite commitments, simply to join IPL. At that point, it stops looking like a cricketing decision and starts looking like a financial one. There’s no doubt IPL has massive financial strength, but when a league begins to feel more like a money-driven destination rather than a purely competitive cricket tournament, it raises serious questions for the global game. Franchise cricket should be built on respect, respect for contracts, for leagues, and for the spirit of competition. Right now, PSL is upholding those values far more strongly, while others need to reflect on the message they’re sending."

@faizanlakhani He is a batter. His job is to bat and get back to the crease first before doing social work of handing someone else's ball. Well deserved dismissal and good Job bowler.

Many people are saying Agha should have reached his crease before trying to pick up the ball, I agree. and, Agha was heading towards his crease when Mehidy obstructed his path, and by then the ball had stopped, so Agha merely tried to pass it back. The dismissal was well within the rules, but such acts are rarely appreciated. Any top sportsman would uphold the spirit of the game in that moment, and we’ve seen many such examples in the past.
Faizan Lakhani@faizanlakhani

Running out Salman Ali Agha the way Mehidy Hasan Miraz did may sit within the rulebook, but it tramples over the very spirit that makes cricket a gentleman’s game. When the chance came to show sportsmanship, Miraz instead chose pettiness. Some players win matches. Others reveal their character. Today, Miraz did the latter and not in a way the game will be proud of.
