Peter Obi’s point is not that Abacha was good. It is that the people who told us Abacha was bad are now doing what Abacha did.

In 1995, there was a bomb blast in Lagos, affected many, and Abacha took the next available flight to show empathy. On January 27, 2002, there was a bomb blast at Ikeja Cantonment in Lagos, and Olusegun Obasanjo arrived almost immediately to the affected area to show empathy with his people, despite reports that the blast was targeted at him. In December 2011, there was the Madalla church bombing in Niger State, and Goodluck Jonathan visited in the next blink of an eye, even though his administration was detested by the northern cabals. In February 2018, there was the Dapchi schoolgirls kidnapping, and Muhammadu Buhari went there the next hit of an hour to show sympathy, and make his people feel inclusive. In December 2023, during the Plateau State Christmas killings, President Tinubu traveled to the state, not to the affected communities, but to meet government officials and hold stakeholder meetings to shook hands and dine. Fast forward to April 2026, after a terrorist attack in Jos that k!ll£d over 25 pr£gnant women and others in a church, the Commander-in-Chief, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, visited the state, but stayed at the airport and did not proceed to meet the affected victims he swore to protect, because there was power outage. In times of crisis, people remember how their leaders respond to their pain.

No Nigerian revalidates international passport or BVN. But INEC wants to revalidate a “permanent voters card.” What does the permanent in there mean? Please explain to me like a three year old. 🙏🏾

Tinubu in Jos Confirms ‘Don't Vote for Me’ Prediction on Power Supply During the 2023 campaign, President Tinubu made a clear electoral promise: “If I don’t give you constant electricity in four years, don’t vote for me for a second term.” When he took office in 2023, Nigeria had a power supply of over 4,000 megawatts and lower tariffs. Today, the electricity power supply is less than 4,000 megawatts on the average, and Nigerians are paying higher tariffs. Nigeria currently has the lowest per capita electricity consumption in the world, with a rate below 30% of the African average. Africa’s average is 617kwh, Nigeria’s is 144 kWh. This means that Nigerians consume least electricity than other Africans. In a glaring display of disregard for promises and a lack of trust, President Tinubu, during a brief airport stopover to visit grieving families of the Jos attack on Thursday, April 2, 2026, stated that one of the reasons for his 10-minute stay was that the airport had no electricity. “You have no light here I fly out in ten minutes” At a time when Nigerians are enduring days without power, our leaders cannot even stay a few minutes without it. Now is the time to stop incompetent leaders—those lacking the capacity and compassion—who prioritise their own comfort over the well-being of the people and make empty promises. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

This is Oyinlola, a governor of Lagos state when Abacha was Head of State. What he is saying that BAT was a snitch and that he wanted to be the civilian deputy governor of Lagos state in the 90's when Abacha was Head of State. Listen and you will know BAT was always a snitch.

You don’t understand what it means for Tinubu and his fellow criminals not to be able to pin one corrupt charge on Peter Obi. My respect for Peter Obi is DEEP! I’m inspired! Deeply deeply inspired by his integrity. A former governor who could have chosen to enjoy certain “office perks” but didn’t. Those “perks” would have been used to pin corruption on him today. See, we need more Peter Obis in Nigeria.

Peter Obi should rile them up more often. This is what politics is all about. Throw jabs, get them upset, make them throw tantrums and lose their minds. That is how you earn the trust of your followers. Enough of all these "born again christian" politics. Learn from Trump, at least. Insult their grandmum, wives, children and side chicks. Accuse them of all sorts of immorality and make them question your own morality. Stop doing "my friend and brother" with your political opponents. Keep beef and hold grudges. Obasanjo survived his eight year tenure by seriously holding grudges.
