What I appreciate about the good people at @childpovertynz is that they are always looking to improve things for children. Ao/NZ’s Covid-19 elimination strategy was a success, but the govt response could have been *ever better*. Approx 18K children newly in poverty over 2020.

To honour the life of community nurse Jodee Redmond who was tragically killed in a car accident in 2019, the Jodee Redmond Memorial Award was created in her name to recognise a first year Bachelor of Nursing student. Congrats to recipient Isaac Wade who has received it.
