Today the Candy Corn Bandit came and stole our candy! The Bandit left us with clues and tasks to solve around the school. Students had to identify words with multiple meanings and identify the main topic and key details of each paragraph. #polkteacherslead #lovepolkschools

One of my favorite things about summer school is seeing students getting excited about reading. Each link of the chain is a book that student has read so far. Today the students got excited as two student’s chains reached the ground. @PolkSchoolsNews @teachengagepcps

We practiced perseverance and problem solving today. Students were given $300 to spend at the store. They had to work together to try to spemoney without going over. They used multiple strategies and inverse operations to solve their equations. #lovepolkschools

Kindness Valentine’s Day Bags! Students had to go around to each student’s bag and write a positive comment about that student. When we were done students told me about how loved they felt. #kindness #LovePolkSchools #iteach2nd
