The Constitutional Court has ruled: The DA has FAILED to deliver well-located, affordable housing to those who need it most in Cape Town.

The Constitutional Court has found the Western Cape government and City of Cape Town's sale of the Tafelberg Property was unlawful. It also found the Western Cape government has failed to ensure social housing projects in the CBD to address apartheid legacy. @BDliveSA

Every time Relebohile Mofokeng speaks, you can’t help but smile. He’s well-mannered, humble and carries himself with so much maturity. A truly well-raised young man. Thank you Orlando Pirates. I genuinely want him to succeed so badly because he’s the future. Royale Union Saint-Gilloise must take good care of our star boy. We’ll be following every step of his journey and cheering him on all the way. ⭐️🇿🇦 #AfricanFootball #SouthAfrica #RoyaleUnionSaintGilloise

Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi: "This is factually incorrect. The Ghanian national who was fatally wounded was attacked at his place of work on Monday (not on protest day), in an incident that the police believe to be extortion related. It is concerning that Ghanian authorities continue to communicate false information about South Africa regarding developments on migration. No fatalities have been recorded during the day of the protests. The spread of false information to perpetuate the false narrative that South Africa is xenophobic is unacceptable"

🇬🇭🇿🇦A Ghanaian man, who was a fashion designer, was killed in Cape Town yesterday by March and March thugs. He was documented in South Africa, married with 3 children and has been living there for two decades. Eye witnesses report say the Man was approached by March and March criminals, who entered his shop, then accused him of taking South African jobs, then called him a Kwerekwere, and then shot him at close blank range, execution style, afterwards. He is the first Ghanaian to be killed in the over 2 decades of Afrophobic violence in South Africa.

The Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation extends its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased Ghanaian national, and to the Government and people of Ghana, following the tragic loss of their citizen in the Western Cape. We refer to the statement issued by the South African Police Services and the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Migration on the matter. We once again we appeal to all partners and stakeholders to work alongside the South African government in ensuring that information shared with the public is verified, accurate, and responsibly communicated.
