🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨: Eid Al Fitr is on Friday, 20 March 2026
The Crescent of month of Shawwal 1447 was NOT SIGHTED therefore the month of Ramadan will complete 30 days tomorrow and Eid Al Fitr will be on Friday.
The prophet of Allah (saw) said; "The Takbir in (Eid) Al-fitr prayer are seven in the first Rak'ah and five second, and the recitation of the Qur'an in both is after the Takbir."

The prophet (saw) used to recite on (Eid) al-Adha and (Eid) Al-fitr, surat Qaf (chapter 50) and Surat Al-Qamar (chapter 54).

Allah's Messenger (saw) said," The Night of Qadr is in last ten nights of the month (Ramadan), either on the first nine or in the last (remaining) seven nights (of Ramadan)." Ibn Abbas added," Search for it on the twenty-fourth (of Ramadhan)

"We observed I'tikaf with the messenger of Allah (saw) during the middle ten days of Ramadan. He said; "I have been shown Lailatul-Qadr, then I was caused to forget it, so seek it in the last ten night, on the odd-numbered nights."

The prophet (saw) used to observe I'tikaf every year (during Ramadan) for ten days; in the year in which he passed away, he observed I'tikaf for twenty days.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) used to observe I'tikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan and say, "Seek Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree) in the odd nights out of the ten nights of Ramadan.

That the prophet (saw) used to engage himself in I'tikaf (seclusion for prayers) in the mosque during the last ten nights of Ramadan till he passed away; his wives followed this practice after him.
