This is how the project was formed — Khugati AI NFT NEAR contract: khugatiAI.nfts.tg Khugati AI NFT is the collection of 10 000 unique NFTs. AI interpretation of artworks by artist Nikolai Khugati. Khugati AI NFT are NOT backed by an original work of the author.

After launching the Khugati NFT collection (not to be confused with Khugati AI NFT), I began receiving feedback from many web3 users that the paintings were beautiful and they would like to buy an NFT, but the minimum price (200-300 USD) was too high for them.

2025 I tokenize all the paintings presented on the site — creating the Khugati NFT collection (not to be confused with Khugati AI NFT). NEAR contract: khugati.nfts.tg

2023 Here, in free and democratic Argentina, my wife Valentinka (⤵) and I have a son born — Rolan Khugati. And as I write… Rola grows…

2022 Putin began a full-scale criminal war against Ukraine. … My pregnant wife and I emigrate to another land — to free, democratic Argentina. With my father and mother we remained in constant touch.

2021 Father’s health grew worse. I came to Ossetia and helped him move back to Siberia, where my mother awaited him. There, under her careful care and after several medical operations, he began to recover. Father continued working, though no longer with former intensity.

2019 … But Veronika did not give up. Twice each year for two years she invited us to the next Art Shopping salon. And in May 2019 my wife Valentinka and I took some of father’s best works and flew to Paris.

2017 Then I began to understand why I made the site and the good photos. I received a letter from Radzivill Art Fund — from Veronika, who promotes Russian artists abroad, inviting my father to take part in the Art Shopping contemporary art salon in Paris at the Louvre

2016 While father painted… at last I bought a proper DSLR camera and went to him in Ossetia to make good-quality photos of the paintings — still not truly knowing why.

2014 … From colleagues at work I first learned of Bitcoin and how to mine it. In the evening at home, on my laptop, I launched the miner — first and last time.

2013 While father painted… I took up a new craft: I wrote the first version of the site khugati.ru (later khugati.com) and placed there the photos of the paintings made four years before — simply to make them public, not knowing what to do further.

2011 Father, after twenty-five winters in cold Siberia, returned to North Ossetia, to the city of Vladikavkaz, and kept painting. … I kept working at DNS and migrated from cold Siberia to another region of Russia — the Chernozem land.

2010 … I finished the university and, besides the diploma, I received certificates in Cryptography and Information Security. Of Bitcoin I had heard nothing yet.

2009 While father painted… I made the first photographs of the paintings, with an old “soap-box” camera, not yet knowing to what end. In that same year I took work as a salesman at the DNS retail shop (computers, cell-phones and such), maybe to buy a good camera.
