At least i can hold on to the small comfort of knowing that he will never get what he wants. That presidency? He will never get it.

Atiku kills me😭 idk if the man genuinely just underestimates how much Nigerians don’t want him to be president or that his ambition is way too high that he is intentionally refusing to see how generally unwanted he actually is. Either way, it is funny 😂

Turns out the story of the year was just...made up. and it gets worse. - John Doe is Chirayu Rana, 35, now a principal at Bregal Sagemount. he left JPMorgan and went straight to private equity. - The whole "threaten his bonus" premise collapsed. Hajdini reported to a completely different managing director than Rana. she had no say over his compensation. - JPMorgan pulled phone records, reviewed emails, interviewed the full team. found nothing. Rana even refused to participate in his own investigation. - A colleague described Rana as "socially awkward" but someone who "met the requirements" to stay at the bank. - Before any lawsuit, he tried to negotiate a payout in the "millions" to leave the bank quietly. they didn't bite. - He filed court filing, then his lawyers retracted it for "corrections" and deleted it. But the Daily Mail already ran the whole thing and the rest twitter did its thing. so he tried to get paid, didn't, then filed a now-retracted complaint against someone who couldn't touch his bonus. wild. feel terrible for her and her family.

On Worker’s Day today, I think of Bank Workers in Nigeria, where at least 42% of them are contract staff with no core benefits bar the heinous low numbers they earn as monthly wages. I think of State and Local Government Workers across Nigeria who still do not earn minimum wage.

The Niger Delta as a region needs me in the House of Representatives in 2027. No one south of the Niger River understands the geopolitical and socioeconomic imperative of developing the eastern Maritime corridor of Nigeria than I do & I have articulated this over and over again.

NNPC just completed a pipeline crossing under the River Niger and most Nigerians don’t understand how big this is. OB3 pipeline now unlocks 2 billion cubic feet of gas per day. Two billion. Every single day. That gas powers electricity, factories, industries. Nigeria has always had the gas. The problem was never supply it was moving it from where it’s produced to where it’s needed. This pipeline connects East to West. That bottleneck just got removed. They already did the AKK crossing last year. Now OB3. Two river Niger crossings back to back. The gas grid is actually coming together. The target is 12 billion cubic feet per day by 2030. Right now we’re nowhere close. But infrastructure like this is how you get there. No infrastructure no industrialization. Simple. This is the kind of news that should trend. Not because it’s exciting but because your light bill depends on it.
