@mb_ghalibaf The most dangerous weapon Iran deployed wasn’t a missile. It was a Parliament Speaker with a wifi connection and a sense of humor.

@MarioNawfal the West spent 40 days trying to defeat Iran militarily and failed. now it wants to defeat geography economically. but geography doesn’t care about political fantasies. Hormuz is still 21 miles wide. the formula still works. the math hasn’t changed.

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iranian Speaker Ghalibaf: "Enjoy the current pump figures. With the so-called 'blockade', Soon you'll be nostalgic for $4–$5 gas. ΔO_BSOH>0 ⇒ f(f(O))>f(O) -" Translation: supply gets constrained → prices rise → pressure compounds. First shock raises prices. The reaction to that shock raises them again. Enjoy your cheap gas while it lasts.

🇺🇸🇮🇷🇮🇶 44 days in… and the damage vs Iraq 2003 is on a completely different scale. Back then, 5 weeks in, Iraq was already done. 139 U.S. troops killed, Saddam gone, no spillover, oil steady, trade untouched, and a 40+ country coalition fully behind it. Now look at Iran. 13 U.S. troops killed, 520+ wounded… but the damage is everywhere. Bases hit across 7 countries, 500+ missiles fired, aircraft destroyed, key bases damaged, and Iran still standing. Civilian impact isn’t locked to one country either. Iraq saw ~7,400 deaths early on in one place. Here it’s 5,000+ across multiple countries, including heavy losses in Iran and Lebanon. And then comes the real hit. Iraq barely moved the global system. Here, oil jumped from $72 to $130+, ~20% supply disrupted, 600+ ships stuck, airspace closing, prices rising everywhere from fuel to food. Even alliances tell the story. Iraq had a full coalition, 40+ countries, NATO backing, allies on the ground. This time it’s mostly U.S. and Israel, with NATO allies stepping back, major countries refusing to get involved, and others offering only limited support at best. So at the same point in time, Iraq was already decided. Here, nothing is decided… but the damage is already global. Source: Wikipedia, WarCosts, IBC, Fortune, IEA, Al Jazeera, CFR

Trump’s solution to opening the Strait is to close the Strait.

@krassenstein Trump wants credit for closing Hormuz. The world just wants it open. Nobody at the gas pump cares whose flag is flying over the strait. They care about the price on the pump.

Trump is angry that Iran is blocking the flow of oil so Trump is going to block the flow of oil even more. This is what insane people do, not leaders

@jacksonhinklle It doesn’t matter whose hand is on the lock. A closed Hormuz costs the world the same whether Iran closes it or America does. Trump is debating ownership while the global economy is bleeding from the closure.

@jacksonhinklle Enforcing a naval blockade against Iran in the Persian Gulf means parking American ships 21 miles from Iranian shores, in waters Iran just proved it controls completely. That’s not a military strategy. That’s a target practice announcement.

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Is Trump aware that, in order to enforce a naval blockade, he needs an actual U.S. Navy fleet in the Persian Gulf, which means putting American sailors as sitting ducks in Iran’s backyard?

@RT_com “We have goodwill but we do not have trust.” That single sentence is worth more than every press release from this negotiation. Iran isn’t asking for miracles. It’s asking America to be something it has rarely been in this region. Genuine.

@s_m_marandi Iran’s Parliament Speaker didn’t fly to Islamabad alone. He placed the faces of 168 Minab children on every empty seat beside him, so the negotiating table would never forget what this ceasefire was truly paid for.
