@ross_moy I feel you! I came across what I thought was an RTC and it was a driver in cardiac arrest. I was solo, had to get him out the car and resuscitate. 8 minute response felt so long! the man survived, I remember it was drizzling & cold so hats off to first response units of any kind

First night shift tonight since last April.. Why am I nervous? As always, thank you to @EDEAUNursingOUH for their support after a personally rough 2021

@OUHospitals disappointing that there are no parent and child parking facilities provided at the NOC. Very challenging to park in a normal bay. Why has this not been considered or share the disabled parking like the westgate offer. Twisting to get your baby out of a space is poor

Before you come to A&E, stop and think– is this a genuine emergency? If it isn’t, there are other options available locally to help you get care in the right place, potentially more quickly.

Something momentous happened yesterday. My 6-week-missing stethoscope magically reappeared on the unit! To everyone that's ever lost a stethoscope...never lose the hope. Probably the highlight of my year tbh.
