I think I prefer how Sephiroth looked in the original. In Crisis Core, when he sees Jenova, there’s some sort of child like joy and fulfillment in his eyes, but in the original, He’s at his wits end, and a deep hatred seeps through in his eyes, but for the people of this planet

Something that stands out to me in this game right now are the FMV scenes Like YEAH it doesn’t look *AMAZING* in comparison to now, but even with the limitations they were able to capture how truly desperate Sephiroth was here. You can see his world crumbling in this one image 😭

And that's what makes Clerith so compelling and so horribly tragic. It's a young love barely blossoming, full of promise and then was cut short in the most horrific, cruel way. They finally found the person who would accept them fully and suddenly they're separated forever.
