Then the Nobility took over Rome and the Varnagioi took over the east and turned Christianity into what it became. And it was great. Europeans did that, not "the Church"

@South_Euro_ @aidannonx not even that. Northern Europeans lived in wooden houses up until 1800 because of lack of electricity, because Northern Europe is cold. Its not the fact that they weren't advanced that caused this. It's the fact that stone doesn't hold heat well.

@LaughingChu @aidannonx even Celts and Germanic people lived in quite complicated dwellings, they were made of wood yes. But they have been made in wood in those regions until 1900. Because you don't easily heat up stone. I must assume all these people come from the south, because Europe is cold.
