ALERT: Prolific DUI driver decapitates a woman when he was allegedly drunk driving a pontoon boat 80 MPH in a no-wake zone. Richard Stevenson, 45, was seen flying across the Fox River in Illinois in his 30-foot pontoon boat, expected to be traveling 80 MPH. Stevenson was seen by a security camera zooming down the river and, about an hour and a half later, seen flying by again in the other direction. Shortly after, the family that recorded his boat heard a massive crash. Stevenson entered a no-wake zone and flew into the back of a boat, causing his boat to jump on top of it, decapitating a woman and injuring her husband. 2 passengers on Stevenson's boat fled the scene but were later interviewed by police and said Stevenson, who blew a .20 BAC, had taken several Fireball shots that day. Stevenson, who has 3 prior DUI’s, faces three felony charges, including reckless homicide and aggravated driving under the influence.

Flock Around & Find Out? If a police officer manually runs license plates from cars stopped at a red light, most people call it good police work. what changes when a Flock performs that same observation? The real debate is privacy, retention, oversight…where is the line?

Four people ages 14 to 19, all from the suburbs, are dead after a pickup truck fled police three times early Sunday and launched off a Southwest Side viaduct in Chicago. According to radio traffic, the encounters started about 90 minutes earlier in Morgan Park. Officers reported that someone in a Chevy pickup pointed a rifle at them near 112th and Bishop around 12:44 a.m. They tried to stop the truck. The driver sped off and entered inbound I-57. As officers approached Halsted, a supervisor ordered the pursuit called off for safety reasons. Video later shows the truck traveling at extreme speed as it sailed off the overpass, went airborne, and slammed into a stationary railroad boxcar on the tracks below. All four occupants were killed.

Caught pushing nearly $1,000 in unpaid merchandise out of Fred Meyer... then officers reportedly found someone else's ID in her purse. Police say they responded to an active shoplifting call at a Fred Meyer in Kirkland, Washington, where a woman was stopped in the parking lot while pushing a cart of unpaid merchandise toward a waiting vehicle. Store loss prevention told officers she had walked past every point of sale without paying. After the items were totaled, the value came to approximately $940. During the investigation, officers searching for identification reportedly discovered ID cards belonging to another person, leading to additional questioning. Because the alleged theft exceeded Washington's felony threshold at the time, what was initially expected to be a field citation was upgraded. She was taken to the station for a book-and-release process, issued a three-year trespass notice banning her from Fred Meyer stores, and charged with felony shoplifting.

Batman accidentally proved something about human nature that almost sounds impossible. Psychologists sent a man dressed as Batman onto a subway... just to see what would happen. A woman who appeared pregnant boarded the same train. Without Batman, only 37% of passengers offered her a seat. With Batman on board? That jumped to 67%. Here's the twist: 44% of the people who offered their seat said they never even noticed Batman. Researchers believe the unexpected sight quietly snapped people out of autopilot, making them more aware of the people around them. Sometimes it doesn't take a superhero to make the world kinder... It just takes something that reminds us to actually look up.

A family member caught staff at a care facility lying on camera after her disabled brother, Derek, called to say he wasn't being fed. When asked if Derek had eaten, the head charge nurse claimed he had until the sister checked with Derek directly, exposing the lie. When confronted, staff refused to answer, objected to being recorded, and tried to block the camera. The sister ultimately checked Derek out and brought him home safely.
