He’s not totally wrong here…basically, as resellers got more greedy & priced sneakers above what normal consumers could afford, the age shift happened with Gen Z coming into sneakers. One YouTuber in particular was a trailblazer in being unapologetic about rocking fakes. Fakes were now acceptable to wear & more people got louder about gaslighting people who chose not to wear reps. Now here we are.

@ozsarchive @KariDaniels @sweeterjawns They reps not lasting 10 years they will crumble before that mark. Plus its no resell on them. Yeah you might have to pay $600 on the brick by brick but at least used you can still make some money back. You can't say the same about openly known reps.

@KariDaniels @kicksofgas @sweeterjawns Depends on the batch, cheaper reps ranging from 50/60/70/80 typically have noticeable flaws but imo anything over $110 typically is 1:1 quality. I’ve compared UA Concords to Footlocker pairs and they had no real differences outside of maybe the smell.

@KariDaniels @kicksofgas @sweeterjawns They definitely are. You can literally order from batches that are 1:1 nowadays and compare them to a real shoe. There’s no difference on some of these reps today. Ppl are definitely scamming, and/or rocking them at conventions
