Why is the entire Irish government proclaiming that “Ireland stands firmly with Ukraine, Russia must withdraw”.
Who gave them the authority to speak for “Ireland”. They’ve unilaterally decided what the Irish people think.

For our neighbours in the UK, Enoch Burke is a young teacher whose spent 500 days in prison, yes prison, over a row that started when he refused to call a young male student as “they”.
Burke got embroiled in a debate with the principal, got suspended and eventually jailed for returning to school to teach the kids.
Gardai have arrived multiple times this week to arrest him and throw him back in prison for Christmas.

Gardaí turned up at Enoch Burke’s home in the dead of night, demanding his father hand over his son so he could be dragged back to prison.
All this started as the young schoolteacher wouldn't call a pupil "they".
He's spent over 500 days in jail.
