Eleanor Dahlia made her 2nd! grand entrance into the world today, January 27th at 5:37pm weighing 10lbs and is 20 inches long. We are so thankful for a beautiful healthy baby *and are so glad she doesn’t have to be put back in my belly again ❤️*

today’s the day we find out if they’re able to reconstruct Ellie’s bladder. Nervous all around

the deployment dread is kicking in 😭😭 I know it’s only 1 month and not an actual deployment but I hate solo parenting

From being told she may never walk, or have a poor quality of life, to walking and running on her own, going to school, and being the smartest little girl I know, I’m so blessed to have this sweet girl

@kierstenbrunn I’m bringing my daughter in for her sleep study tonight. The first try, we had to leave in the middle of the night lol. Not from being loud because she’s non verbal. Different reason. But this is so funny to me. 😂 wish us luck, I’m wishing you luck on your next one too 😂❤️

We share her story in hopes of connecting with family’s that don’t know what to expect when they receive the same diagnosis we did. While no two children with Spina Bifida are the same, every one of them is amazing, adaptable and capable in their own unique ways ☺️

This is Ellie! She has Spina Bifida and as a result has hydrocephalus and a chiari malformation (reason for the sleep study)! She was born twice (had surgery while still in utero) and defies every odd placed against her. Quite literally the strongest, smartest little girl ever 🤍
