the deluxe edition of my debut poetry book, titled '222', will be released on april 22nd!! 👹 it features ten previously unreleased poems like ‘inherited instability', 'fireflies' & 'the residual haunting'. on top of this, it features four bonus poems like 'radio repeat' & 'two of swords'.

'222 (The Deluxe)' drops on April 22nd…I’m super proud of it and cannot wait for it to drop!! 👹 the poems in it, which were all written at the same time as the standard edition, are the perfect bridge between '222' and 'house fire'. as of today (since it changes all the time), my favourite poem in the deluxe is probably 'inherited instability' or 'fireflies'. i can’t wait for them to be out in the world in 16 days.

no concept contents lists exist for 'house fire' yet, however, i have a few groupings in mind for poems that link together thematically. i’m going to keep writing and writing until the project feels fully formed, THEN a contents list will be made.

I wrote a poem today called "transfiguration". it was a commentary on the cruel treatment of transgender people in society and a criticism of people like j.k. rowling who push harmful rhetoric surrounding the existence of trans people. it is in the 'house fire' poem log book, but it probably won’t be released. i’m not sure if it turned out as well as i wanted it to. i’m really passionate about this topic, and i have poems about it in "222" like "hatecrime", "transient life" and "post-mortem", but the way that i went about it in this one was different. it is grounded more in protest than it is in fear (which is good because fear is the main emotion in the "222" poems) but something feels off about the way that it’s written. we will have to see though. maybe i’ll rework it once the writing sessions have concluded.

i can’t imagine how frustrating it must be. people who spread false information do nothing but add a layer of confusion surrounding what’s real and what’s fake. you took accountability for the things that you did, it’s so weird that they add onto it. we love you, its very apparent that you have a kind heart.
