@Me11o89 @WAFCtabs You nicked our manager. I’ve no doubt if he hadn’t gone to Wigan we’d have stayed up.

If I were Exeter, I’d be fuming. Mid table when Caldwell left, and now he’s just allowed us to roll over today to as good as relegate them. He’s done a fantastic job with us, no question. But that is as unprofessional a performance I have ever seen. #wafc

Maybe England, France, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Netherlands, Norway and Italy should all pause participation in the World Cup while the various tariff negotiations continue with President Trump? 8 of the 10 favoured teams to win withdrawing might concentrate some minds.

It's almost been a week. So what's everyone's favourite track? 'Scream, If You Want To Go Faster' / 'Grand Prix' / 'Hot Wheels' / 'Two For The Road' / 'Interceptor' / 'Silver Shadow' scopitones.co.uk/post/brand-new…

@killerbadger @russty_russ I’m 38, so although too young to remember it 40 years ago, very know from news coverage and YouTube ever since what it was all about and so it’s great to see the BBC airing something just a bit different and broadcasting highlights from this momentous occasion. More please! 😊

Keep dipping into #LiveAid40 and I’m very much enjoying! From a geeky point of view, aside from the donation details (which they have addressed with a “please do not donate” caption), were there any technical faults during transmission at all? If so, will they re-broadcast them?

@tweetystee @davidvance One big drawback to this is that UK only apps like NHS for example won’t be accessible. It sucks all round really.

One work around for you. Subscribe to a decent VPN service like Nord or whatever. Set you location to Ireland (because they speak English or USA if you want the biggest app store). Sign out of iOS app store. Sign into The .IE or .com iOS store. Note they only let you do this once per year so people don't surf around cheaper regions. Using a VPN is also good practice generally for data protection and security. I run one living in Spain to appear like I'm in the UK so I can access English language internet. I notice no difference. As for your other question it's iOS or Android...it doesn't matter about the phone manufacturer just the OS they run. Google in the UK offers end to end encryption on messages, you can turn it on in Drive and Gmail but it's not available on Photos.

So Keir Starmer and his goons can now see into your phone. Privacy just died for Apple users. Can someone advise if there is an alternative phone system that protects your privacy? I’ve always been Apple but this is appalling

A Ukrainian woman in the audience points out that support for Brexit has fallen on the floor & maybe it’s time Britain stood up & led Europe in the fight for Ukraine. Fiona Bruce laughs & moves on quickly. Why does the BBC not want to talk about Brexit anymore? #bbcqt

@ReinardSchmuli1 @Lord_Talbot64 If there was another election tomorrow they’d still win. Would you like them biannually? Or maybe monthly? Hey, let’s make it a Thursday thing.

@Lord_Talbot64 Out of interest is there a legitimate process whereby the majority of British public can force the Gov to declare a general election sooner than the 4.5 years ? If no, then the law needs changing

This will probably get me locked up but the UK cannot wait until the next election. By then Starmer and his politburo will have destroyed the country and handed the remains to Islam. We need a revolution before it is too late.

Bob Mortimer almost killed me once. On the May 5th, 1995 I couldn't breathe for laughing as Bob portrayed George Michael in this Stars in Their Eyes sketch on The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer.

@RealBasedBrit @afneil Did you miss the election we had a few weeks back? The one where he got a landslide? Any more votes you want to rerun? Like one from 2016? Or just ones you dont like?

Keir Starmer’s approval rating plummets to a record low of -16, according to a new poll. He’s about to leave for Berlin where he will meet Social Democratic German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, whose approval ratings are also in the dirt and who leads a coalition of the walking wounded.

As far back as I can remember there have been periodic outbreaks of violence in Britain. Mods and Rockers in the 60s (long before mass migration). Riots. Football hooligans. Demos. Strikes. Mass pickets. Saturday night brawls. Dunno which planet Camilla has been on?

We are working to reintroduce services but due to the severity of this disruption, we expect delays, cancellations and short notice amendments until end of day. @ThePeterBriggs This movie was a work of art. Too bad you can't see that. The scene where he goes back thru the worm hole & it's been only a couple of days for him but it's been decades back on earth and he watches all the family videos he was sent in that time is poetry. It's gut wrenching

Name a popular movie which you’re not a big fan of? My pick: "Interstellar." One of the dumbest movies ever made by a feted director. Laughably plot-hole filled, insanely boring, with a terrible score that people actually cite as one of their favourites. And...that sound mix!
