It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing, earlier today, of a true legend, Sr Oliver, just 10 months short of her 100th birthday. She was treasured by our entire parish and will and renowned for the legacy she leaves behind. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

When we were working on our proposal to take over the Convent in Killina, we lamented the lack of amenities in the area, having witnessed businesses close their doors over the years, so it gives us great pleasure to see the The Thatch opening up under new management this weekend

The Christmas market at the Killina Centre is one not to miss next Sunday. Santa will be giving out tasty treats! There will be lots of stalls selling fresh food, artwork, crafts, decorations and gifts. From 11-2. Let us know if you are bringing your kids so Santa is prepared.

Just two weeks until the bumper Christmas market at the Killina Centre and look who is planning to take time out of his super busy schedule to make an appearance? Santa Claus plans to walk around the market giving out festive treats. Remember, it’s on December 12th from 11am-2pm

When you come to the Killina Market this Sunday, you won’t be able to pass the fantastic food options. From delicious fruit, vegetables & freshest eggs on Eddseggs stall, to burgers & tasty snacks made by Island Farm Foods to tasty & wholesome granola from Shar’s Luxury Granola

Some more fabulous stalls that you’ll see at the Killina Community Market on Sunday. Everything from books & jigsaws for kids with The Irish Book Fairy to prints, cards and calendars from Beth Carroll Art right up to fantastic Christmas trees and snowmen made from wooden pallets

Three people will join our regular stall holders this Sunday. We hope you will all welcome Mary who will be selling beautiful decorations, talented Telford with his Shadybrook Cottage Christmas cards & Noeleen who will have fabulous hampers & toy show treat boxes on sale.

Don’t forget the Killina Centre Community Market takes place this coming Sunday from 11am-2pm, with a range of food, craft and gift stalls. Now we’re not mentioning the C word quite yet, but…..
