I’m an Army veteran, public servant, & proud mom of three. I learned early on what it means to be a patriot & put country over party. That's not what we're seeing in DC today. I am running for Congress in CO-05 to bring competence, courage, & character back to Congress.

We are in some heavy times... and it’s important to find moments for joy. That’s where March Madness comes in! I submitted my brackets this morning… both men’s AND WOMEN’s. And I aptly named them “Killin It.” Hope everyone enjoys the journey these next few weeks. May the best teams win (and here’s hoping for some upsets that college basketball (and CO-5) can really provide)!

While I was sad to miss the St. Patty's parade this weekend, it was great to still sport some green and see our supporters show up in green at the County Assembly! And 🍀 was on our side – thank you to all who supported and helped us win the Assembly and get the top spot on the ballot! Looking forward to victory in June and November. We will not be relying on luck—but hard work, perseverance, and an amazing grassroots movement. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I’m aghast. This administration and Jeff Crank clearly don’t care about the livelihoods of Americans. And now they are saying it out loud.

As a former Military Police Officer, I know the rule of law is essential to our safety. We can’t have public safety without accountability. But it is not okay that our TSA agents are paying the price for the lawlessness and overreach of ICE. We need to fund the other components of DHS – for the safety and security of the American people.

Join me on Team Normal! It takes competence, courage and character, but we can and will create a better government for El Paso County and our country.

We won El Paso County Assembly, and we are on the ballot (bigly 😂)! We also crushed the petition process and worked to get over 2200 validated signatures. I’m so grateful for the support of my community, the hundreds volunteers supporting us, and my campaign team. This is the next step towards unseating Jeff Crank and giving El Paso County the leadership it deserves. The engagement and enthusiasm in El Paso County is how we will flip this seat.

After a busy week of caucusing, it was great to get back out and about this weekend! We had a really engaged group at our Coffee with Killin in NE Colorado Springs and then did some Women’s History Month artistry at the Paint and Sip hosted by Women of Impact!

Happy International Women's Day! I am so grateful to all the women who have fought for our rights and blazed the trail. I am especially thankful for my own amazing sisterhood of incredible, resilient, strong, and kind women.

Today for Furry Friend Friday, we toured the Pikes Peak Humane Society, which does remarkable work to home pets, provide vet services, and support pet owners in our community. And today, we are featuring a Canine for Killin that was adopted from the Humane Society, sweet Pumpkin!

What a week! And what an amazing outcome—we won the straw poll by almost 10 points! We are so grateful to everyone who participated in caucuses. Your activism is what true grassroots engagement is about and what helped show what we know…..this is how we defeat Jeff Crank. I want to share the story of 88 year old Lois Firestone, who was so excited to caucus for Killin that she made me this bracelet. She needed help getting to caucuses, and one of our wonderful volunteers gave her a ride. It’s people like Lois that power this movement. We are so grateful to her and to all of you! People in America and the Pikes Peak region are struggling because they can't afford groceries, healthcare, or childcare, and yet, this administration is spending our taxpayer dollars (and putting our troops in harm's way) on a war with no strategic plan or endgame.

Noem is FINALLY out! But it is too little, too late – I called for this long ago. We need accountability and the prosecution of all ICE agents who have broken the law.
