@WinningintheUSA All no bid is based off defrauding the people unless there is no competition for the contracted services. Regardless if the state.

🚨 Oklahoma taxpayers — this is where your COVID relief dollars actually went.
Oklahoma received billions in federal COVID relief funds to help families stay housed during the pandemic. The Emergency Rental Assistance Program was supposed to get money directly to struggling Oklahomans for rent and utilities.
Instead?
The Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES), under Governor Kevin Stitt, handed a no-bid contract to the Communities Foundation of Oklahoma (CFOK) to run the program.
Here’s what State Auditor Cindy Byrd’s Federal Single Audit for FY 2023 uncovered:
• $21.8 MILLION in questioned costs at OMES alone, mostly tied to undocumented “management fees” paid to the nonprofit
• No receipts
• No invoices
• No documentation justifying where the money went
• Fees funded high-paying management salaries and administrative overhead instead of direct rental help
• An estimated 7,659 qualified Oklahomans were denied assistance they needed
Now taxpayers could be forced to repay millions back to the federal government through higher taxes, cuts to services, or both.
And here’s the kicker:
The audit found no criminal charges, just massive mismanagement and almost zero oversight.
The real issue?
OMES used a controversial “Rolling Solicitations” pilot program that allowed no-bid vendor selection and bypassed normal safeguards.
Translation:
A blank check with almost no accountability.
If you applied for rental help during COVID and got denied… now you know where some of that money went.
What do you think?
Is it time to end Oklahoma’s no-bid contract culture?

This husband is cracking me up with his “Your ADHD wife had a productive day.” She changed the batteries in the door lock that finally died, started cleaning out a closet they’d been meaning to tackle for ages, and began organizing that one messy shelf… but then moved on to the next thing without finishing any of them, leaving the house in total project chaos.
The pride mixed with sarcasm in his voice while panning over all the half-done messes had me laughing the whole time.
It’s such a relatable look at how ADHD brains can light up and start a million things with the best intentions — but sometimes the house ends up looking even wilder in the process. Having a partner who celebrates the effort (even when nothing’s quite done) is pure gold.
ADHD spouses (or anyone with an ADHD brain in the house) — does this feel familiar?

@HustleBitch_ That is way too high for a 60 year old. It should be around at highest high 800 with therapy. Anything around 500 or more causes high RBC count /blood clotting. Have to give blood regularly. He needs to lower that!

🚨 26-YEAR-OLD EXPLAINS HER SEX LIFE WITH HER 60-YEAR-OLD HUSBAND — AND THE INTERNET IS MELTING DOWN
A couple with a 34-year age gap is going viral after casually answering the two questions everyone was already thinking:
“How do you even have a sex life?”
…and:
“Does she have access to his credit card?”
The husband, who’s 60, says testosterone replacement therapy gives him “the libido of a 20-year-old” while his 26-year-old wife openly says she’s “wildly attracted” to him.
Then the conversation somehow gets even more intense.
When asked about money?
He admits she has “free access” to his credit card but insists she’s not “entitled” and still runs her own business.
Now the comments are completely divided:
• “This is either true love or the greatest PR campaign ever.”
• “Bro is living in a Viagra commercial.”
• “The confidence gap is honestly crazier than the age gap.”
• “The chemistry is actually freaking people out.”
The more they answer questions… the more people can’t stop watching.
Is this genuine love… or does something about this dynamic feel completely off to you?

@TrustlessState No it’s not. Paying someone more stops them from being corrupted? If they worked more than 1/3 of the year and full time in that position then that would be arguably correct to pay them more. But they don’t. They go and work as doctors and lawyers seperate.

Unironically, congress members should be paid 600k-800k a year
Strong financial compensation is a fundamental deterrent for corruption and alternative interests
Rep. Jack Kimble@RepJackKimble
Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.
