To be human in a pandemic – A thread Over the past 48 hours I heard from numerous clients, colleagues, and friends sharing similar messages of fatigue, stress, and burnout. “You don’t need to respond Sarah, I just need to share this…” is how many of those messages started. 1/

@CNSCathriona @ZDoggMD He’s also really kind. I reached out to him last Christmas to record a merry Christmas video for my friend and he did it- dressed as a rabbit 😂

This resonates! when I have tried to practice what I preach eg. discuss with my dad about the d-word I've been shut down, " sure I'm not planning on dying anytime soon!" @drol007 says make a plan then file it away, least its discussed and done, don't have to dwell on it #eolc

Buying coffee: discovered my dress was tucked into my pocket with my phone. Flustered, I then accidentally touched screen while adjusting dress/getting card out of phone wallet to pay. The whole queue heard my amplified voice telling guys to check their balls⬇️. #MensHealthWeek

Has COVID-19 forced you to wear glasses and a mask at the same time? If so, you may be entitled to condensation.

@katemasters67 I want the majority of the general public to understand what CPR is, definitions of success (ROSC vs leaving hospital) & likelihood of success so that people don’t feel undervalued, upset or failed by HCP’s who agree that CPR isn’t the right thing to do.

‘Learning Disability’ is not a reason for ‘Do Not Attempt CPR’ instructions. If you, or someone you care for has been hospitalised and you're unsure about a DNACPR instruction, use our new #DNACPR support pack, find it here at @LearningDisEng online: bit.ly/2YoXN5h

@katemasters67 @KatyMcconkey @ShaunLintern The public generally lack information re DNACPR other than what is in the media- usually misleading. That regularly leads to it being offensive when it’s raised by a HCP- some HCPs (humans) get scared to raise it, which means the quality of conversations is hugely variable. 1/2

...the decisions made must be recorded - that is the difference between end-of-life wishes being known about and wishes being respected. Thank you all for following! (if you want a link to the recording, let us know)
