Tomorrow I’m leaving for my rustic cabin in the Adirondacks for 2 weeks: boat access only, no electricity or running water (just a small solar panel and a generator-powered pump system in an open well). No internet, extremely limited cell service… I can’t wait. (Photos from previous years)

@samjulien I thought it was going to be completely unsalvageable and baked it out of morbid curiosity more than anything. Glad I did because it’s delicious after all 🤤

I made sourdough but must have messed up the measurements. I think I put about 175g too much water 😂 The dough rose, but was completely wet and totally unworkable. I baked it anyway, and it’s ugly but it tastes great and most surprisingly, has great crumb! Crazy. And they say sourdough is hard… lol

@filearts @simpulton Exactly! A serendipitous cospeaking opportunity with @ryanchenkie when I was at @auth0 was how I got into DevRel in the first place.

@KimMaida The way I 'broke into' tech all those years ago was by focusing on speaking so that people would come to me with a pre-existing connection. Couldn't have happened without @simpulton but the lesson remains. Set yourself up to be approachable if you're not comfortable approaching.

None of my CFPs were accepted for @AgenticAIFdn’s AGNTCon + MCPCon. 🥲 🤷🏻‍♀️ Bummed because I have a couple that I really want to give! I’ve been working on so much cool stuff. Blog posts are coming, and maybe videos, but I really hope I can share these things live onstage someday. 🎤

DevRel is often about solving the most common or most complex problems. CS and SE is about helping a specific organization solve their own unique and distinct problems. I love building things for the developer community, but it’s also really cool to build for a specialized need.

My role at @KeycardAI is a wonderful amalgamation of all the things I love to do (DX, ENG dogfooding, DevRel, product) and some new things as well. Building (and soon, delivering) a customer workshop is the kind of FDE-flavored work that I could definitely get used to! ☺️
