Everyday i feel what can I do to protect more street animals & it never stops troubling me how humans treats them. A group of men killed a street dog in Kerala because he reacted when a guy kicked on his face. Such indulgence of hate towards animals has been skyrocketing.

Attention at What Cost? For a few seconds of online fame, someone chose to terrorize innocent wildlife. This mindset is the real problem we need to address. People who harm animals for views should face strict legal consequences. #AnimalAbuse #SayNoToCruelty #ProtectWildlife #Kota

A few games of football is not worth the life of a single Dog! Heartbreaking footage captured dogs being rounded up and tossed into vans for alleged mass killings in Morocco as the country prepares for the 2030 World Cup. Since the North African country was ratified as a host in December 2024, campaigners say the slaughterings have surged dramatically, with around 500,000 dogs believed to be slain each year. "When will humans realise that animals are not tools" 💔 - vegan_bea (IG) Over 50 million donkeys are made to work worldwide, often walking up to 20 km a day carrying heavy loads without proper rest, water, or care. 🐴😓 Around 90% suffer injuries from overwork and poor equipment. 🤕 Animals aren’t here for us to use - they’re living beings who deserve compassion, dignity, and freedom. 🙏💚 Clip spotted galapagos_marc (IG) #donkeys #veganfta #ethics

The death of a four-and-a-half-year-old female elephant at Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh has raised concerns of a possible anthrax infection. The elephant, named Gayatri, died on Wednesday after reportedly being unwell for several days. Officials said she exhibited symptoms including severe diarrhoea, anal bleeding and extreme weakness, eventually collapsing and dying.   Preliminary findings by a wildlife medical team from Jabalpur, along with a veterinary doctor from the reserve, indicate that the symptoms are consistent with a suspected case of anthrax.   Anthrax, caused by the bacterium Bacillus anthracis, is a soil-borne disease that primarily affects domestic and wild animals such as cattle, sheep and goats. It can lead to high fever, respiratory distress and severe bleeding, often resulting in sudden death. Humans may contract the infection through contact with infected animals or contaminated animal products, though it does not spread from person to person. What kind of conservation is this? Animals lives have become pathetic in this country! #wildlife #animals #elephant #MadhyaPradesh #Anthrax newsarenaindia.com/states/elephan…

She lay on the road for two days — unseen, unmoving, and in pain. When Shakti was finally rescued, her hind legs were completely paralyzed. A severe spinal injury had taken away her ability to walk. But what followed was five weeks of patience, physiotherapy, and relentless care at BMAD. Step by step, she fought her way back. Today, Shakti is walking again — and she’s found a forever home at the shelter that refused to give up on her. 🐾 Stories like hers remind us what compassion can do. 👉 Support, adopt, or volunteer — be the reason another Shakti gets a second chance. BOYCOTT 2030 FIFA World Cup in Morocco.
dominic dyer@domdyer70

🚨 WARNING: Distressing Content 🚨 The Moroccan government is reportedly planning to exterminate 99% of all homeless dogs across the country ahead of the 2030 FIFA World Cup. Activists said the animals are being killed as part of efforts to make cities and tourist hotspots appear cleaner and safer, as well as more appealing to international visitors, fans, and media. An estimated three million stray dogs live on Morocco's streets. Animal welfare organisations have released images and testimony alleging Moroccan authorities are using harsh methods, including clamping dogs by the neck, loading them into trucks and poisoning or shooting them before disposing of their bodies in mass graves. A report published last month described Marrakech, expected to host World Cup matches, as a “kill center”, where canines were transported in white vans and processed in warehouse facilities fitted with meat hooks and washable flooring. Witnesses in other host cities alleged that dogs were starved for days before being burned alive at rubbish depots. The International Animal Welfare and Protection Coalition (IAWPC) said Morocco has a pattern of large-scale animal killings ahead of major international events, arguing that organisations like FIFA are not issuing orders but are effectively enabling the practice. The coalition submitted a 91-page dossier to FIFA, including photographs documenting poisonings, forced starvation, and the shooting of dogs. A statement from IAWPC said: “After the [World Cup confirmation], the extermination of the dogs has increased dramatically. As a result, the fear is that Morocco will now go ahead with their plan for the mass slaughter of three million dogs.” A FIFA spokesperson has said that during its bid for the 2030 FIFA World Cup, Morocco emphasised its commitment to animal welfare, noting government efforts to expand clinics and support programs for stray dogs. They added: “With the bidding process now completed, FIFA is following up with its local counterparts with the aim of ensuring commitments are upheld.” #NewsForYou

The Emmy Awards just made a decision that goes beyond fashion. Real fur is now banned from the red carpet. No exceptions. No loopholes. If someone arrives wearing it, they can be turned away. This matters because the red carpet does more than create photos. It shapes what people link with beauty, status, and success. For years, fur was sold as luxury—something to admire and copy. But every fur item comes from an animal killed for style. Mink and foxes are often kept in small cages. They cannot run, swim, or live naturally. Many are killed in painful ways so their fur can be worn for a few hours under bright lights. That reality has been ignored for too long. Now one of the biggest stages in entertainment is drawing a clear line. Change happens step by step. A rule like this sends a message to designers, celebrities, and brands: if you want to look current, choose cruelty-free options. Millions of people watch these events, so the message travels fast. This is not only about one award show. It is about changing what we celebrate and taking cruelty out of what we call glamour. One red carpet at a time, that shift is already happening.

"Mamla thanda padega toh saare kutto ko maar dalenge." Read that again. People are openly threatening extreme violence and animal slaughter online, using their caste and community pride as a shield. What kind of sick, regressive mindset breeds in this place? Since when did supporting criminals and threatening voiceless animals become a symbol of bravery? This isn't power, it's pure cowardice and criminality. We need to seriously question the mentality being normalized here. The authorities must take strict action against these open threats. instagram.com/p/DXySLS7iLLj/… #Rajkot #AnimalCruelty #JusticeForVoiceless #EndTheViolence #GujaratPolice

Heartbreaking. Farmers will get compensation for crops—but what about the voiceless animals lost in the fire? Animal welfare in rural India needs equal attention. Their lives matter too. @RahulGandhi @priyankagandhi
