H.E. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, the former President of Liberia said: ‘’The size of your dreams must always exceed your current capacity to achieve them. If your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough.’’ We have been working on this vision of « MUSEUM INGABO, A Contemporary Art & Storytelling Museum for Humanity » and this is the architectural plan of what we hope to build in Rwanda 🇷🇼 More than a museum, it is imagined as a living cultural space: a Research Institute, a Library, Art Residencies, an Amphitheater, creative studios, and many other spaces dedicated to art, memory, dialogue, and humanity. What began as a dream is slowly becoming a vision with foundations. And SOON, it will stand, not only as a building, but as a home for stories, creativity, history, and future generations. It is a DREAM. And it will come true. @MuseumIngabo Architect designer : Jim MGS 🇫🇷 1/2

If you are not rain my love, Be Tree, sated with fertility. Be Tree. And if you are not tree, my love, Be Stone, Saturated with humidity. Be Stone. And if you are not Stone, my love, Be moon, in the dream of your loved one. Be moon. Mahmoud Darwish (1941 - 2008 🇵🇸 )

Aren’t you acting for the camera right now ? I’m speaking of my suffering. I’m not acting, I’m speaking from the heart. This isn’t acting. For me Art is the experience of what you’ve felt inside.

THE RIVERS KNOW King NGABO, 2026 The rivers know where they come from. They rise from distant sources, mountains, valleys, hidden terrains, flowing north to south, east to west. Though shaped by different paths, they do not remain apart. They move toward one another, and ultimately, they meet in the same ocean. The rivers do not question their convergence.

“Your unprocessed pain doesn't disappear. It just changes addresses, moving from one relationship to the next. Until you sit with it, feel it, and let it go. Emotional maturity is feeling your emotions without becoming them and feeling your pain without becoming its narrative.”

Rwanda keeps raising the standards that most African countries are neglecting. Ruhehe Primary School sits along a gently curving wall of local volcanic stone, paying homage to Rwandan craftsmanship. Volcanic rock on the walls. Clay roofing tiles that muffle rainfall so lessons continue through storms. Woven bamboo and bark panels filtering light and absorbing sound. 80 percent of construction materials sourced within 50 kilometres of the site. 75 percent of the budget spent inside Ruhehe Village and Musanze district. 110 local workers hired. 35 percent of them women. Now look at what we build and call a school across most of this continent. A cement block box. Plastered over. Painted yellow on top and ox-blood red at the bottom. No ventilation strategy. No acoustic consideration. No connection to the landscape or the culture. A building that could exist anywhere and therefore belongs nowhere. The material knowledge is here. The stone is here. The clay is here. Rwanda proved that building well does not cost more and it costs differently, and it pays back in ways a painted cement box never will. This is not a foreign standard. This is an African one. Ruhehe Primary School, Musanze District, Rwanda 🇷🇼 | MASS Design Group + African Design Centre | 1,120 students | 2018 | 📷 Iwan Baan

INSPIRATION - Issa Samb, also widely known by his pseudonym Joe Ouakam, was a seminal, multi-disciplinary Senegalese artist, philosopher, writer, and actor. Born in 1945 and having passed away in 2017, Samb was a foundational titan of post-independence African avant-garde art. He dedicated his life to a practice that radically dissolved the boundaries between art, philosophy, politics, and daily life. The Laboratoire Agit'Art In 1974, Samb co-founded the legendary artistic collective Laboratoire Agit'Art alongside filmmaker Djibril Diop Mambéty, painter El Hadj Sy, and other creatives. The collective emerged as a radical, iconoclastic movement aimed at transforming the nature of artistic production. A major posthumous presentation at the 61st Venice Biennale (2026), titled In Minor Keys, which welcomed global visitors with an installation echoing the spirit of his original Dakar courtyard.

There are people who woke up early, not to go to work, but to queue in hospital— for dialysis, chemotherapy, amputation, surgery and others for burials. When you walk in the streets, mind your neighbor; don’t push people. Be kind. Pray for others and thank God always🙏😇
