A lot of people tagging me in the “Looking for a new James Bond” post so let me chime in. Let’s pretend I was an amazing actor, and was actually seriously offered such a role (I am not). I couldn’t do it. I’m too big and bulky and I’m half black. My lips are too big and my eyes are too dark. My skin is too brown. James Bond was a white man and even people who are lightly mixed race looking like me shouldn’t be playing him. If they stay true to the novels especially when it comes to character casting they might save the franchise, casting me would be a Chris Nolan Odyssey style move to pander to the woke crowd.
