@JJBASoundDesign I remember when watching anime or reading mangas were considered gay af, now I can't sleep a day without some. I gotta admit it's sum good shi, ig it was just the all time most watched animes that ruined the picture (and the audience themselves).

anime being so mainstream and commonly talked about IRL these days is surreal to someone who grew up in a place where you were lucky if someone even watched dragon ball z, yugioh, or pokemon lol

A lot of people on here say they love Toriyama but only read DB and for some reason won’t read any of his other manga. I think if more people read his other works, especially Dr. Slump, they will appreciate and understand Toriyama as a mangaka even more.

@GoldenPortable In his defence, It was a hard time for being a DB fan since there was no sign of a continuity at the time so ppl were just making shit up for the love of it.

Toyble’s Dragon Ball AF manga was truly a pivotal unifying moment for the fandom because it proved that Japanese fan mangaka could be just as edgy and corny as American artists

@jongwoojanu Listen I loved that movie when it came out, but now I get why some people called it fan-service. Or maybe cuz Sony and marvel seem to never give Spiderman fans what they want to the point whenever there's an exception it automatically makes you think that it's fan-service.
