U.S. Security Alarm on Nigeria: A Bad Omen
The recent directive by the United States to evacuate its embassy staff from Nigeria due to rising insecurity is deeply worrisome and should be treated as a national emergency, especially for a country already struggling to attract investors.
Nigeria currently ranks fourth in the Global Terrorism Index, yet insecurity continues to worsen - lives are being lost and communities remain under constant threat. There is a glaring absence of effective governance; instead, what prevails are schemes that undermine democratic processes, as though politics has taken precedence over the safety of citizens.
The U.S. directive is a clear signal of declining confidence in our national security architecture. Disturbingly, reports indicate the loss of yet another Army Brigadier General to terrorists in Borno earlier today. A nation where people cannot live, work, worship, or travel safely cannot progress or attract investment.
The primary duty of any government is the protection of lives and property, yet in this regard, we as leaders have fallen short over the years. Our failure continues to place immense strain on our troops, who make the ultimate sacrifices.
Sadly, as Nigeria deteriorates, we as leaders, like Nero, remain preoccupied with politics, forgetting that without security, there is no nation to govern and no future to campaign for.

Yesterday afternoon, an NGO raised an alarm over the premeditated attacks that was underway...
The DSS did nothing.
Caleb Muftwang did nothing.
The Nigerian Police did nothing.
These Christians who were in their house heard the Intel and decided to protect their homes from Islamic terrorists that were threatening to invade & kill them.
Their crime was trying to protect their family with machetes.
I expected and knew you guys would twist the story.
Thanks for never disappointing me.

Leadership Without Compassion is Not Leadership
During his visit to Benue State in June 2025, Bola Ahmed Tinubu stopped at the Government House but did not go to the actual scene where innocent Nigerians lost their lives. Similarly, yesterday in Jos, his engagement ended at the airport instead of at the affected communities.
What happened in Plateau yesterday highlights a complete absence of leadership. True leadership requires presence, empathy, compassion, and a willingness to meet people where their pain truly lies. For citizens who have just lost loved ones, homes, and their sense of safety, being addressed from an airport tarmac is profoundly inadequate.
This approach exacerbates the sense of abandonment already felt by innocent Nigerians who have endured repeated cycles of violence without meaningful protection or justice. Plateau deserves more than distant words; it requires urgent action and a clear commitment to ending the insecurity that continues to claim innocent lives.
In such moments, leadership must not only be visible but also tangible—standing with victims, listening to survivors, and acknowledging the depth of their grief.
If we truly desire a better Nigeria, we must demand leadership that is present, responsive, and responsible at all times.

A guy sits in a taxi and sees his wife entering a hotel with another man and tells the driver,
“Do you want to earn $500 right away?”
The driver excitedly says “What do I have to do?”
“My wife just entered that hotel with another man, bring her to me by the hair, here's a picture of her.”
After a while the driver is seen dragging a woman by the hair, while she’s kicking and screaming. He opens the door and puts her in the taxi.
The husband says to him, "This is not my wife"
The driver replied "I know, this is mine, hold her for me please, now I’m going back for yours”

Jos attack is another evidence of failed leadership..
Leadership that prioritizes politics over protection of lives..
Choosing rather to waste our collective patrimony in pre-election jamboree and pre-coronation plans..
Posterity will judge a leadership that now emboldens, enables and replicates what it once vehemently condemned..
I believe in the power of prayers but prayers won’t replace responsibility..
We need humane leaders..
These current folks have zero affiliation with empathy…
We are tired..it’s depressingly exhausting.
We stand with the families who lost loved ones and pray for fortitude to bear the irreparable loss..
And for those who will engage this tweet to support failed leadership for the crumbs they offer you,pls show your irritation via good grammar..
So even if I am irritated by your intentional delusion,I would be encouraged by your mastery of words..
AJS.

*In 1951 a politician bought a horse for a race at £50,000. The seller agreed to deliver the horse the next day.*
In the morning of the next day, he drove up and said: "Sorry son, but I have some bad news. The horse is dead."
The politician replied: "Well, just give me my money back then."
The seller said: "Can’t do that. I’ve already spent it." The politician said: "OK, then, just bring me the dead horse."
The farmer asked: "What are you going to do with it?"
The politician said: "I’m going to raffle it off to the people as a speed horse that can win a race"
The seller responded: "You can’t raffle a dead horse."
Politician replied: "Sure, I can. Just watch me. You don't know the people, l will post wonderful pictures of a horse, I just won’t tell anybody it's dead. I will market it with propaganda and present it as capable of chasing criminals away"
A month later, the seller met up with the politician and asked: "What happened with that dead horse?"
Politician replied: "I raffled it off. I sold 1million tickets at £2 each and made a profit of £2m.
*The seller was dazed and asked: "Didn’t anyone complain?"*
*Politician said: "Just the guy who won. I told him the horse died on our way to deliver. So, I gave him back his £2 with apology. I told him l have refunded everyone. He consoled me and told me to keep it up that I am a good man.’ That, after all, I have suffered (a lot of loss). He prayed for me and called on God to bless me. Telling me that the country needs honest people like me to come and run for office".*
LESSON
*Dem don dey arrange demselves. The political raffle ticket will soon be back to sell to people another dead horse in 2027*
