After thinking about Coach Malone hire, listening to the @carolina_pod interview and press conference, I’ve come to the conclusion that he is “outside the family,” but he’s more like your childhood friend who was always over and felt like he was family anyway.

Just relistened to this and am left feeling hopeful. His respect for the program is evident, so I think he’ll bring his flair to it while maintaining the legacy and tradition. I think that also leans toward keeping the Dean Dome where it is (with upgrades), but time will tell.

@jonrob11011965 My guess is that we’ll get an announcement late tomorrow about a press conference on Thursday to not overshadow the women’s team’s send-off, but that could be shifted one day. I don’t see this going past Friday.

Am I the only person that feels that the longer this situation goes on, that this isn’t a good thing for everyone involved? From coaches, staff, alumni, recruits and followers of this program. If it isn’t already, this could get really messy.

@carolina_pod My mom came from Ahoskie and I came from Waxhaw, so neither of us had clear paths to the game. We were both sad to miss, esp since this was a break for my mom who has shifted her role since my dad became paralyzed 2.5 yrs ago. Thanks for looking out for us @JonesAngell! 2/2

@carolina_pod With school cancellations, I finally got a chance to finish this today. I can confirm that there were a few people who planned to be at the game due to weather. I bought my mom tickets for her birthday, and we were both excited to come as college bball is a passion we share. 1/2

@carolina_pod @JonesAngell, I understand that irritation with 6-7. However, if you truly want to be rid of it, you must fully embrace it. We all know, the fastest way to kill a teen/tween fad is for adults to think it’s cool. My wife and I did our part on Halloween.
