I pay out of pocket for transportation as a blind person and parent. Even have to pay for public school bus. And don't live in transit-friendly part of US. #VoicesofDEJ

Being disabled is expensive.💸 The additional costs that make life more accessible add up. As someone with cerebral palsy, I need adapted shoes of different sizes to fit my leg brace. I need Ubers since I can't drive and can't always walk the distance, and more. #VoicesofDEJ
