For supper I made something the Italians may call ‘monte e mare’ (mountain & sea). 1) I flambéed a small piece of fillet steak, king prawns, shiitake/oyster mushrooms in butter & brandy. 2) Cooked Mafalde pasta, which I brought back from Capri as the crinkly edge helps even a thin fish sauce stick to it. 3) Reheated a good quality Danish lobster bisque. I served it all with lots of fresh parsley, Parmesan, black pepper & it was delicious.😋😁

He’ll make an occasional error - he’s human - & I’ll cope with that without feeling the need to light a fire under him. Others, including yourself, may have more exacting standards.
